Amazing house with tons of character!!

A group of 8 adults stayed here for a long weekend in January and it was incredible. (4 couples each using one of the private bedrooms.) There was tons of space (both for sleeping and hanging out) and we all loved the character of the house and the fixtures within. It was a really cold weekend but we were always comfortable and the owner was quick to respond when we had questions on how to best heat certain areas of the house. The kitchen was really well stocked for items needed to cook (we made breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day) and everything was really clean upon arrival. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to someday stay in this house again!

Christmas to Remember!!

My family of 14 stayed in this GORGEOUS house this past Christmas and it was nothing short of a dream come true. This spacious home accommodated our entire family where we could enjoy a large family meal together! The heated floors, whirlpool tubs, movie theater room, and towering Christmas tree were some features that made this home so special. A Christmas day walk to the jetty at Drake's Island was perfection for winter beach lovers! This house was stocked with everything we needed to bake cookies and steam lobsters. A Keurigg, wine glasses, cutting boards and many odds and ends that don't traditionally come with a rental home were also provided. Our family worked with Rebecca for 16 month planning this Christmas stay and it was nothing short of perfection. She checked in each day to ensure our needs were met and answer any questions we had! Do not miss out on a chance to stay in this home any time of the year!

Perfect home for a small family reunion!

I can't recommend this home enough. It is large and spacious. The grounds are lovely and access to the beach trail was an unexpected pleasure. We hiked to the beach and back every day. Our hosts were wonderful. They met us at the house checked us in and then walked us through the features of the home, showed us where extra linens were etc. Then they disappeared and we had the place all to ourselves. We had ten and the home slept us very comfortably. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and even the knives were sharp (and you know how rare that is in similar rentals.) Everything was wonderful and we are already talking about organizing something similar in the future! Thanks to Rebecca and Sherry for your hospitality and sharing your home with our family

Another great stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house, and we unanimously voted to stay again next year. We are 5 couples, and it’s not easy to find a house with 5 rooms that all have at least queen-sized beds -- no pull-out sofas, futons, or bunk beds. Also, just the right number of bathrooms to make a comfortable stay -- oh, and the water pressure in the shower near our bedroom this year was OUTSTANDING. Of course, the master is incredible. Our group is going have to stay here at least 5 times so all couples can experience the master --- we can’t help but marvel at the size (larger than the entire apartments I lived in during my younger years), and the three sinks in there --- or was it four? And the entry door to the room that seems (and may be) 20 feet high. So fun! The great room connected to the kitchen makes such a wonderful hangout that we really don’t end up leaving the house much at all during the whole weekend – not to mention how much more comfortable it is to stay there and make meals than to trek out to restaurants and get seating for 10 adults…. I love the communication style of Rebecca and Sharon -- they left us alone to make the weekend our own, but were immediately accessible for questions, and continue to be so after the trip is over. I could go on and on but, long story short, five stars to Rebecca and Sharon, and thank you for another wonderful vacation!

Girls Club Weekend Away 2018!!

We all had a fantastic time renting this beautiful big house and I mean big. There are 12 of us who every year go away for the weekend to Maine. In the past several years, we have not been able to find a house that would accommodate all of us and this hours did. The kitchen area is amazing because that is where we spent the majority of our time together. We had a wonderful fire outside at the pit, which after a long day of shopping was a nice way to relax. The vote is in for us to rent it next year, so I will be in touch. The owners were so nice... very responsive and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. Thank you!

What a great house!

This house was a perfect place for our three generations to gather and reconnect. We loved being able to walk through the Laudholm Reserve to the beach and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard and on the back deck. The living area was spectacular with plenty of space for playing card games, puzzle making, watching TV and just catching up. The kitchen was well equipped and the islands made serving and cleaning up after meals so easy - best of all the dining table comfortably fit all 11 of us! With bedrooms and bathrooms on all three levels, everyone had room to spread out and get a great night of sleep. The location was perfect for exploring Wells - we loved the croissants from the 1690 Bakeshop, ice cream at Big Daddy's and pretty much everything at the Maine Diner. From our first inquiry until checkout, Rebecca and Sharon were great to work with and gave us lots of helpful tips about the home and area -- we are grateful to both of them for sharing their amazing home with us and would love to have the opportunity to stay again.

Awesome home! Exceeded expectations!!!

Our family had a wonderful time. Becky and Sharon were excellent hosts. The property was exceptional and immaculate. Would not change a thing except next time invite more family!..the house is so big that when there are only 4 people, it's almost too big!! We hope to be back in the future and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an awesome vacation experience!!!
